Deputy Director General of the Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority Attends the Closing Ceremony of the Cybercrime Training Workshop in Port Sudan

The closing ceremony of the specialized Cybercrime Investigation Training Workshop was held today at the Police Club in Port Sudan, Red Sea State. The workshop was organized by the Public Prosecution under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Communications and the Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority (TPRA), with the participation of representatives from various law enforcement agencies. The event ran from October 12 to 16, 2025.
Eng. Nader Al-Gilani, Deputy Director General of the Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority, attended the closing session and commended the tremendous efforts exerted by law enforcement authorities in maintaining security and upholding the rule of law. He emphasized the importance of continuous training and capacity building to keep pace with technological advancements and effectively combat cybercrimes.
The workshop was inaugurated on Sunday, October 12, in the presence of First Assistant to the Attorney General, Judge Kamal Mahjoub Ahmed Saad, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Digital Transformation andCommunications, Dr. Eng. Elsadig Gamaleldeen, along with several senior officials from the Public Prosecution, including the Head of Administrative and Financial Affairs and the Head of the Executive Office of the Prosecution.
